Panaji: Former chief minister Digambar Kamat has said that God saved him from all the fake allegations.
Kamat was addressing a meeting of “Goa Mining Dependents’ Front” at Usgao.
“Many things have been said about me and the mining industry. I will not buckle down to the fake allegations,” he said.
“I am capable to face any kind of allegations because I have God with me. I have never gone against the interest of common people when I was the chief minister or a minister,” said Kamat. “God is saving me always. I always have faith that the one who supports the common man is always protected by God and no one can harm such person,” he said.
