Cuncolim: A woman has filed a police complaint against Indrajeet, owner of Obrigado Resort, alleging verbal abuse, death threats, and intimidation at Cuncolim police station.
As per the complaint, the incident occurred on February 25 when the accused allegedly entered the victim’s shop aggressively, inquired about her husband, and threatened her with dire consequences.
The victim has alleged that the accused used abusive language, intimidated her while asking for her husband, and demanded that the complaints of illegalities filed by her husband against the resort be withdrawn immediately.
The victim, a Goan resident, has urged authorities to take strict action. The complaint has also been forwarded to senior police officials for further investigation.
Additionally, it has been alleged that Indrajeet has connections with certain members of the Quepem Constituency Panchayat. He was reportedly seen distributing garbage bins to some panchayat members, and a former Sarpanch from the Quepem Constituency Panchayat had also posted a photograph with him, raising concerns about his influence and local ties.
