Sanguem: TMC state general secretary and Netravali panch member Rakhi Naik has demanded that the state government should recruit Gold medal winner Babu Gaonkar into their services, providing him secured future.
Naik took on to twitter to place her demand. She wrote “Netravali is overwhelmed over our youth Babu Gaonkar winning the Gold Medal at #Nationalgamesgoa2023 .
Time to recruit him in the govt service, provide him secure future & allow him to continue his practice so that he can bring more laurels, even a medal in the Olympics.”
Naik has already announced a cash prize of Rs 50,000 to Babu.
