Panaji:The funeral of Vijaya Shripad Naik will be held on Thursday, January 14 at Adpai, Ponda. Wife of Shripad Naik, Vijaya Naik passed away in a tragic accident that took place in Hillur-Hoskambi village near Gokarna on Monday. AYUSH and Minister of State for Defense Shri. Shripad Naik is injured and is undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College (GMC). Tomorrow morning between 8 am to 9 am Vijaya Naik’s body will be kept at her Sapendra, Ribandar.
Then her body will be brought to her native village, Adpai. People will be allowed to visit from 9.30 am to 12 noon. The final procession will then proceed from her residence at Adpai to the cemetery. Mrs Naik is survived by her three sons Siddhesh, Saish and Yogesh, her daughter in laws Swanupa, Pratiksha and Adv Aditi and grandchildren Ayansh, Ayush and Parthavi.
