Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today announced that the foundation stone for the second phase of Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB) Complex at Bambolim would be laid on January 14.
The IPHB capacity would be enhanced with additional 100 beds. The total cost of the project, to be executed by Goa state infrastructure development corporation (GSIDC) is Rs 50 crore.
Rane said that the new building would be the centre of excellence, with salient features such as a courtyard for activities and therapies, lecture hall with capacity from 30-100, counselling room and provision of ECT room.
