Belgaum: Former MGP MLA Lavoo Mamlatdar died in Belgaum allegedly after being assaulted by a rickshaw driver.
Sources stated that Mamlatdar had a verbal fight with the accused rickshaw driver Mujahid Sanadi (25). The CCTV footage of the incident shows that the accused assaulted Mamlatdar before a group of people stopped him.
Later, Mamlatdar went to the hotel where he was staying. Sources stated that he collapsed on the steps from where he was brought to the hospital.
He died at the hospital
