Vasco: The flight operations at Goa Airport were affected this afternoon after the runway was closed for landings due to jettisoned fuel tank of Indian Navy’s Mig29-K fighter aircraft.

A senior Airport official said that the operations were shut down around 2 p.m. and will be resumed only after 4.30 p.m.

“The departures are happening from the airport but landings have been stopped till runway is repaired,” he said.
