Panaji: State Cabinet today approved summoning of monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly from July 15 to August 9.
This is going to be the first full-fledged Assembly session for Pramod Sawant after being sworn in as Chief Minister. Sawant will have to reply to the House on the Budget 2019-20, though a full financial statement was not presented by then ailing CM late Manohar Parrikar.
Sawant told media persons that cabinet has approved summoning of monsoon session from July 15 to August 9. He said that the House business would be decided by the Business Advisory Committee headed by Speaker Rajesh Patnekar.
