Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today chaired his second cabinet meeting. The meeting, which took several decisions, also witnessed discussion on the additional portfolio allocation approved by the CM.
Though, some Ministers have expressed their displeasure over the additional portfolios allocated to them, CM is firm on his decision. The notification on portfolios is expected today evening.
The decisions of cabinet are:
· 4,000 sq mts of land belonging to Education dept at Cacora transferred to Sanjay School
· 10 percent reservation to economically weaker section of general category in jobs and educational institutions as decided by the Central government
· Adv Devidas Pangam to be the new Advocate General
