Panaji: The General, Expenditure and Police Observers for 02-South Goa Parliamentary constituency and 22-Shiroda Assembly Constituency have arrived in the State of Goa to oversee the poll preparedness and to ensure free and fair elections. The Observers will meet the general public/leaders of political parties and contesting candidates for election related grievances/complaints on the days given against their names.
The names and contact details of the General Observers for South Goa Parliamentary Constituency are Ms. Indra Mallo, IAS(9370951729) and Ms. Monalisa Goswami, IAS(9370951731).
Ms. Mallo will be the observer for 21 to 30 Assembly constituencies and will meet the general public/leaders of political parties and contesting candidates of the aforesaid Assembly segments at Conference Room, Government Rest House, Monte Hill, Margao for one hour after withdrawal on April 5, 2019 and from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. on April 06, April 10, April 11, April 13, April 15, April 16 and April 22.
Ms. Goswami have been assigned Assembly Constituencies from 31 to 40 and will meet the general public/leaders of political parties and contesting candidates of the aforesaid Assembly segments at Conference Room, Government Rest House, Monte Hill, Margao from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on April 05, April 08, April 11, April 15, April 18, April 20 and April 22.
The General Observer for 22-Shiroda is Ms. Suchitra Sinha, IAS and may be contacted on Cell No. 9370951728. Smt. Sinha will meet the general public/leaders of political parties and contesting candidates from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. on April 06, April 09, April 13, April 16 and April 20 at GFDC Rest House, Dhavali, Ponda.
Ms. Aprajit Sharma, IP&TAFS has been appointed as the Expenditure observers for 02- South Goa Parliamentary Constituency and 22-Shiroda Assembly Constituency. She will meet the general public/leaders of political parties and contesting candidates at Conference Room, Government Rest House, Monte Hill, Margao from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 pm w.e.f April 8 to 22, 2019.
Similarly, Shri Naveen Singla, IPS has been appointed as Police Observer for the Lok Sabha Elections and will be available everyday on his cell No 7499161775.
