COVID-19: 80 new cases, zero deaths

Panaji:  Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 80 and reached 50,534 on Friday,  a health department official said.

The death toll remained at 728 as none  of the  patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 48,826 with 101 of them getting discharge on Friday. The number of active cases is now 980, the official said.

“With 1669 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to  3,89,879,” he added.
