Panaji: Total 639 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Thursday, taking the total tally to 22,890.
The health department official said that 436 people were recovered on Thursday, after which 17,592 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2,666 samples were tested, 1,440 were negative, 639 were positive and 485 reports are awaited.
Six people died on Thursday taking the death toll to 268 in the coastal state.
