Panaji:Total 621 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Wednesday, taking the total tally to 22,251.
The health department official said that 281 people were recovered on Wednesday, after which 17,156 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2,608 samples were tested, 1,502 were negative, 621 were positive and 485 reports are awaited.
Six people died on Tuesday taking the death toll to 262 in the coastal state.
