Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 219 and reached 58,803 on Saturday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 834 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 55,989 with 151 of them getting discharged on Saturday. The number of active cases is now 1,980, the official said.
“With 2,062 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,51,354,” he added.
