COVID-19: 128 new cases, two deaths

Panaji:  Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 128 and reached 57,712 on Monday , a health department official said.

The death toll mounted to   828 as two  of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 55,455 with 101 of them getting discharged on Monday. The number of active cases is now 1429, the official said.

“With 1,457 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,40,796,” he added.
