Congress questions health care in State after 12-year-old succumbs to Covid-19

Panaji: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat on Saturday condemned the government’s management of dealing with Covid-19 patients in the State.
This comes after a twelve year old boy succumbed to the deadly virus.
Lashing out at the government, the Leader of Opposition stated, “With 12 year boy passing away today, this is a new low in handling & management of covid Pandemic by the Government. The unfortunate death is a wake up call for all those who are desperate to open schools in Goa.”
Demanding that the government must take uo things seriously Kamat stated, “I demand that the government must wake up and focus on Healthcare on topmost priority. I appeal to all not to play with the lives of the children.”
“I demand that Chief Minister and Health Minister must keep aside all other priorities and completely focus on handling and management of Covid pandemic. Saving lives of citizens should be the top most priority of the government,” Kamat further stated.
He further condoled the death of the young boy and others who lost their lives because of Covid till date.
