CM reviews preparations for PM Modi’s Goa meeting

Panaji: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday took review of the preparations for the upcoming public meeting schedule to be held on February 6, which will be addressed by PM Narendra Modi.

Talking to reporters, Sawant said the the public meeting would be participated by more than 50,000 people. The meeting is schedule to be held in Margao town of South Goa, he added.

The chief minister said that during the meeting, the state government will present a report card of developmental works executed under double-engine government in the state for last ten years.

He said that the card will give a representative picture of the developmental works.

Sawant said that few of the government officials will also be felicitated during the public meeting on February 6.

Sawant said the during the meeting today (Wednesday), he took the review of the preparations. He said that all the government departments are engaged in the preparations.
