Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant met the representatives of Goa Mining People’s Front to discuss the options to resume mining industry.
Sawant told reporters that the various options considering Abolition Act and MMDR Act were discussed during the meeting. He said that the government was trying to work out legal solution for resumption of the industry.
Goa Government must Recover the Looted Amount from the Mine Looters and distributed among the Goans (Dependent & Non-Dependent). There is no need to restart the mining in Goa. Tremors can be felt in Goa and earthquakes can happen in Goa and Goans will be in big trouble if Mining restarted. Fresh Air & Fresh Water will be impossible for Goans if Mining restarted in Goa.
