Panaji : CM Dr Pramod Sawant expressed grief over the flash floods which endangered the lives of people in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
A glacier burst in Reni villagenof Chamoli in Garhwal Himalayas this has caused flash floods endangering the lives of those staying near the bank of the river.
Around 100-150 casualties are feared on the disaster. CM Sawant in his recent tweet prayed for the well being of people saying :
“Disturbing news of flash floods coming in from Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. I pray for the safety and well-being of everyone.”
