Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday greeted the members, karyakartas and alumni of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on its Foundation Day, lauding the student body for its role in fostering leadership, patriotism and a sense of social responsibility among the youth.
In a post on X, Sawant said that for decades, the ABVP has been “a force” in nurturing leadership, patriotism and social responsibility among students.
He said the organisation, through its commitment to nation-building, academic growth and youth empowerment, has inspired young minds to contribute meaningfully to society.
The chief minister expressed hope that the ABVP would continue to empower the youth with the values of service, discipline and integrity, helping shape responsible citizens who would lead India towards a brighter and more developed future.
“Heartiest greetings to all members, karyakartas and alumni of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on its Foundation Day,” Sawant said in the post.
