Panaji: Canacona youths criticised the government for faulty and inaccurate Covid tests taking place in government hospitals in Canacona. They accused the government of not being serious of the pandemic situation thereby putting the people of Canacona in grvae danger. The youth lamented that because of inaccurate Covid-19 tests they had to suffer a job loss overseas which had required a Covid-19 test.
Rudraksh, a resident of Canacona commenting on the issue said, “I was asked for a PCR test by my company who had already made my visa among other formalities ready, when I had myself tested Canacona hospital my result came I was declared asymptomatic positive. However, when I approached a private hospital they declared me negative. I had to suffer a job loss due to this faulty inaccurate test”.
The Cancona youth have given ten days ultimatum to the health minister to punish the wrong doers.
