Panaji: Leader of Opposition Digamber Kamat has urged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to call for a special assembly session to discuss the the fate of Mhadei River, the State Lifeline.
In his tweet, Kamat has also questioned whether government is above law pointing that when Mhadei issue is subjudice, how can Centre grant EC to Kalasa-Bandhura project.
“Is the Government above Law? Mhadei matter is sub judice & Environment Ministry grants clearance to Kalsa-Bhanduri project. Blatant violation of Law. Demand @goacm to call Special Assembly Session to discuss on the fate of Lifeline of Goa,” he tweeted.
