Mapusa: Goa police on Monday arrested a 20-year-old bus conductor in Mapusa town for molesting 19-year-old student.
Deputy superintendent of police Jivba Dalvi said that Anuj Singh (20) who is working as a bus conductor was arrested by Mapusa police for molesting a girl passenger and harassing her.
He said that the 19-year-old girl lodged complaint with Mapusa police station on Monday that the accused has been sexually harassing her from the time she was in twelfth standard while she was travelling in his bus from Thivim village to Mapusa.
Dalvi said that the accused has been arrested for molestation and also booked under stringent Goa Children’s Act and POCSO Act.
