BJP leaders urge Shripad Naik to join state politics

Panaji: The voices within BJP have started demanding that Union Minister Shripad Naik should join state politics to mentor the upcoming State Legislative Assembly election campaign.
Two leaders including Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Vinay Tendulkar and St Andre Leader Ramrao Wagh has said that Naik’s experience would be helpful for the state politics.
Tendulkar tweeted “We welcome @shripadynaik ji’s decision of joining state politics whole heartedly. I am sure, I can say that on the behalf of all the goan leaders that his addition to Goa’s political paradigm will be fruitful and advantageous. I have always looked up to him as a mentor.”

Earlier, speaking on our interview program Hub Encounter, Wagh has said that the leaders like Naik should be heading the campaign for the elections.

Naik has been active in national politics while his presence in the state has been inspirational for many local leaders.
