Panaji: Hours after Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai lashed CM Pramod Sawant over the employment, the BJP leaders accused him of spreading fake news and questioned the credibility of the agency which he had cited to attack the CM.
Giriraj Pai Vernekar, Convener, Research and Policy Department of BJP Goa, tweeted “Dr @VijaiSardesai possibly holds a PhD in Fake News from WhatsApp University. He latches onto any report to portray Goa & its Govt in a bad light. I wish he had researched the credibility of the agency whose report he shared. He can try, but he can’t misguide Goa’s youth.”
In another tweet, Rupesh Kamat, Convener, Social Media Cell of BJP Goa, tweeted “Ownership of CMIE and their close proximity to P Chidambaram raises serious questions on the credibility of their job survey & our PhD in Fake News from WhatsApp University uses it to misguide Goans youth. Really shameful of @VijaiSardesai”
