Margao: Ravindra Bhavan Margao’s Chairman Damu Naik has said that the cultural activities in the institution will start gradually after considering the protocols for COVID-19.
He said that the options like holding events through virtual mode or by strictly adopting social distancing measures can be considered to resume the activities at Ravindra Bhavan.
Responding to the statements by former Chairman Prashant Naik about Ravindra Bhavan, Naik said that the institution was never used for political purpose during his time.
“It is a cultural centre where people from all strata and believing in different political ideologies come. It was never used as a political centre during my tenure but people know what happened when I was not in the chair,” he taunted.
“People from Margao are witnessed to what had happened.. we never named canteen as forward,” he said.
