Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa general secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar submitted his resignation on Saturday citing health issues.
According to reports, Padgaonkar was shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC) and hospital a few days as he had been ill for some time.
Announcing his resignation in a tweet Padgaonkar stated that party convenor Elvis Gomes has accepted his resignation saying ‘health first’.
“I have resigned today from the post of AAP Goa General Secretary on health grounds.
The same has been accepted by Elvis Gomes saying ‘health first’,” Padgaonkar tweeted.
