Panaji: In a sarcastic tweet, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte has congratulated chief minister Pramod Sawant for successfully inching closer to the 1,000 cases per day mark.
Khaunte has also raised apprehension that opening of schools without infrastructure will spread the infection further.
“Congrats @DrPramodPSawant as your govt is inching closer every passing day towards a target of 1k infections per day as predicted by @visrane. Opening schools without proper infrastructure will help them achieve a target of 1 k 1 day. #1k1day #Goafightscovid #COVID19,” Khaunte tweeted.
This comes a day after Khaunte targeted the chief minister alleging his involvement in the Mopa airport licence fee scam.
