Panaji: Samraat Club Dongari and Friends of Vishnu Surya Wagh to Commemorate the Death Anniversary of Vishnu Surya Wagh with Panel Discussion
Samraat Club Dongari and Friends of Vishnu Surya Wagh cordially invite the public to an evening commemorating the death anniversary of Vishnu Surya Wagh, former Deputy Speaker, writer, journalist, playwright, poet, cartoonist, and mass leader. The event will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 5:00 pm at the Conference Hall, Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda.
The commemoration will feature a panel discussion on “Goa’s Past, Present, and Future,” with prominent speakers including Adv. Cleofato Coutinho (Lawyer and Columnist), Kishore Keshav Naik Gaonkar (Editor – Gaonkari), Ramesh Gauns (Environmentalist), and Shailendra Mehta (Writer and Poet). The discussion will be moderated by Kaustubh Naik (Writer and Historian).
Adv. Ramakant Khalap, former Central Law Minister, former MP, and former Deputy Chief Minister of Goa, will deliver the keynote address, “Remembering Vishnu Wagh.”
The event will be presided over by Pravin Sabnis, SCI Goa State President, and the Guest of Honour will be Chandrakant Gawas, Block President-2.
The event is organized by Samraat Club Dongari and Friends of Vishnu Surya Wagh. The organizers include Ramrao Surya Wagh (President), Mayur Naik (Secretary), Hanumant Bakal (Treasurer), and Omkar Govekar (Friends of Vishnu Surya Wagh).
