Panaji: Hon Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shri Parshottam Rupala flagged off five LED video vans today. The vehicles will play a pivotal role to disseminate information about developmental works carried out by the BJP government in Goa.
Shri Rupala hailed Hon Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant for reaching out to the people of Goa through various developmental and welfare works. He said that it is the right of the general public to understand the works carried out by the BJP govt in Goa and at the Centre.
These vehicles, he said, will create awareness. “It is a good initiative to inform the public about developmental works BJP has carried out during its current and previous tenure. The 10 years of BJP rule in Goa has been fruitful and people have largely benefitted during these years,” he said.
The party, he said, is optimistic to retain power for the third consecutive term stating, “People will once again bless BJP by showering their love during the upcoming elections.”
The vehicles were flagged off in the presence of State BJP President Shri Sadanand Shet Tanawade, Santa Cruz MLA Shri Tony Fernandes, St Andre MLA Shri Francis Silveira, State General Secretary Shri Narendra Sawaikar and other BJP office bearers outside the party headquarters in the evening.
The union minister also hailed the fast track works by Hon Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji asserting that India’s achievement and milestones under the PM has been like never before.
” Gujarat development model is an inspiration for the entire country. Modiji then became the Prime Minister of India and changed the face of India.The BJP government has done development work in all the fields. While setting up many new projects, the central government has also implemented a number of schemes for the overall development of the people. Following these footsteps, the BJP government in Goa is developing the State,” Shri Rupala said.
He further appealed to the people to stand behind BJP so that the developmental works continue.
Shri Tanawade, while speaking on the occasion said that the work of Goa government needs to reach out to the people. “This is the reason the State BJP has launched five LED vehicles to convey the work of the BJP government to the people. These vehicles will go to the villages and inform the people about the overall performance of BJP,” he said.
On the handling of COVID-19 pandemic, Shri Rupala said the government under the leadership of Modi ji did a great job to control the spread of the virus. “Corona came under control in India earlier than other countries in the world. Also, the anti corona vaccine was produced in India for the first time. In Goa too, COVID-19 was successfully brought under control,” he said.
The senior BJP leader also slammed parties like Trinamool Congress and Aam Aadmi Party for misleading the people. Shri Rupala said TMC has encouraged violence and the evidence was the horrifying law and order situation in West Bengal post general assembly polls.
“No matter how many plans the TMC comes up with, people will not forget what happened in that state. Whether it is AAP or any other party, these parties only show off. Their actual work is nothing. I am confident that in the coming elections, people will acknowledge the work done by BJP at the Center and in Goa, and will stand firmly behind the BJP,” he said.
