Raising the issue of illegal land filling which is rampant in the areas of Nagvaddo Betalbatim in Nuvem constituency, Raju Cabral said, ‘Locals are facing so much trouble today because of BJP-Congress-builder lobby nexus. What’s worse, the main person who is the reason for his menace is hiding behind his son and local sarpanches who are being sent to your home with false assurances.’
Attacking Congress’ Aleixo Sequeira further, Raju Cabral said, ‘The MLA himself hasn’t walked on these roads for the last 10 years and he won’t do it in the next 5 also. He does not understand the plight of the common man. He is instead sending his son to do his job. This is unacceptable!’
