Panaji: While we carried a video by a citizen showing water meters fixed six feet above the ground level at Dhempe Tower on Thursday, the reality check has shown a different picture.
As per some of the occupants of the building, the meters that are shown in the video are actually flow meters, while actual meter is near the main gate. These flow meters are general feature in the buildings but they have nothing to count the units.
The occupants have clarified that there is proper billing of the water usage and the amount is regularly paid to the department. There is no fraud or illegality in the matter.
