Porvorim- Carnaval 2024 in Goa has begun, kicking off its grand start in Porvorim which was flagged off at the hands of Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte in the distinguished presence of Dr. Chandrakant Shetye, MLA of Bicholim, Shri. Kedar Naik, MLA of Saligao, Jeet Arolkar, MLA of Mandrem, Shri. Swapnil Chodankar, Sarpanch of Penha De Franca and Ms. Sonia Pednekar Sarpanch of Socorro.
The residents of Porvorim enthusiastically enjoyed the float parade of Carnaval, immersing themselves in the colorful celebrations. From lively parades to spirited music and dance performances, the community came together to revel in the carnaval atmosphere. Locals and tourist alike joined in the merrymaking, adding to the vibrant energy of the event.
The highlight of this parade was an exclusive float on Ekadasha Teertha that potrayed 11 handpicked temples across Goa showcasing rich cultural heritage and the Spiritual Tourism circuit.

From February 10th to February 13th, locals and tourists will be treated to a four-day extravaganza that showcases the rich cultural heritage and lively spirit of Goa.
As Carnaval 2024 celebrations have begun, we reflect on the joy, unity, and cultural pride that will fill the streets of Goa further taking the parade to Panjim (10th Feb), Margao (11th Feb), Vasco (12th Feb), Mapusa and Morjim (13th Feb).
