Panaji: The morcha at Kadamba Sub Station at Old Goa Plateau last night led by St Andre MLA Francis Silveira has now taken another twist. Anti-PDA activist Rama Kankonkar has filed police complaint against Silveira’s supporter Bakal of assaulting him in the darkness.
Kankonkar is one of the anti-PDA activist. He held a press conference today in Panaji which was attended by anti-PDA front and addressed by St Cruz based leader Arthur D’Souza.
Arthur who was with Kankonkar last night when assault happened said that the assault happened due to the anti-PDA agitation which successfully managed to delete areas from Azossim-Mandur. Arthur said Bakala was upset with Kankonkar for the successful agitation.
Arthur also claimed that he was assaulted by Bakal.
The formal complaint is lodged with Old Goa Police station. Anti-PDA activists have demanded arrest of Bakal.
