Shripad Naik spent maximum amongst other contestants of North Goa seat

Panaji: Union AYUSH Minister and BJP’s candidate Shripad Naik has spent highest amongst other contestants in North Goa Parliamentary Seat, a senior official from Chief Electoral Office said on Thursday.

Chief Electoral Office, in a press statement released here, has given details of expenditure incurred by candidates in North Goa Parliamentary segment.

BJP candidate Shripad Naik, who is contesting for the fifth time in the constituency, has incurred an expenditure of Rs 18.07 lakh as against Rs 12.84 lakh by Congress candidate Girish Chodankar in the same constituency.

In all six candidates were in the fray for North Goa Lok Sabha seat, polling for which was held on April 23.

AAP candidate Pradeep Padgaonkar who contested from this constituency spent Rs 3.41 lakh while Independent candidates Amit Korgaonkar incurred expenditure of Rs  Rs 43,354, Bhagwant Kamat spent Rs  25,000 and Rs 38,420 was spent by Aishwarya Salgaonkar.
