Dongri: GNH has been travelling extensively across Goa to get the pulse of the people for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Unemployment and religion are not the only issues that the political parties will have to get on their manifesto, there are smaller issues which can make the silent votes swing in their favour.
Shigmotsav groups are currently performing for the Shigmo parades but are apprehensive whether they will be able to perform or not. They are worried that their performance may be stopped midway.
Their worry stems from their experience for the year 2019 when their drums were thrown away in the name of election code of conduct.
They could not even perform.
