Vasco: The security at Dabolim Airport in South Goa was heightened after an email gave bomb threat to this international airport on Monday, a senior official said.
Airport Director S V T Dhanamjaya Rao said that his office has received an email on Monday morning threatening about the bomb at the airport.
“We are taking extra caution now. The security has been heightened at the Airport but flight operations remain normal,” he said.
Rao said that they are trying to find out the origin of email, which is also addressed to several other airports across the country.
Dabolim airport is located near Vasco town in South Goa.
