Panaji: To educate mould the minds of students with regards to challenges of environment and water conservation, State Education department has directed schools to show national award winning Konkani movie ‘Amori’ to students.
In a circular issued to all the heads of schools, Director Education Vandana Rai said that the Amori is a feature film in Konkani on the issue of environment and water conservation. “The film propagates the message of environment and water conservation to the children,” she said.
“Therefore all the heads of government, government aided and unaided schools may decide to show the film to the students who are interested in watching the movie wherein no financial liability will accrue to this directorate,” she said further.
