New Delhi: As the Special Leave Petition on Mhadei could not come up before the Supreme Court on Thursday, Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai said that he is “shocked and worried.” Advocate General Devidas Pangam said that the matter may come up before the Apex court on December 6.
The SLP, which was scheduled to be heard today before the SC bench, could not come up.
Reacting to the development, Vijai Sardesai tweeted “The hearing on #Mhadei, originally listed yesterday before the hon #SupremeCourtOfIndia, has not come up for hearing even today, delaying justice to #Goa. I’m shocked and worried by the absolute disinterest @GovtofGoa continues to display in this critical affair: @VijaiSardesai.”
The Advocate General has said that as the matter could not come up as “some other matter was going on.” He said that the matter is likely to be listed for hearing on December 6.
