Panaji: The health conditions of RTI Activist Rajan Ghate who is on the hunger strike at Azad Maidan in Panaji for last seven days deteriorated.
Sources stated that Ghate complained of a severe chest pain at around 8.30 p.m. due to which the 108 Ambulance service was summoned.
Ghate was adviced to be shifted to the GMC but refused and has decided to stay aput there.
The RTI activist has been on the hunger strike demanding that CM Manohar Parrikar should step down from the post owing to the ill health.
