Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte has said that the rising rate of unemployment showcases the failure of Goa government to sustain, revive or support the extant employments during the pandemic.
Khaunte tweeted “Goa’s unemployment rate shoots from 2.8 per cent in Feb 2020 to 21.1 per cent in Feb 2021. Almost 10 times increase showcases the failure of Goa government to sustain, revive or support the extant employments during the pandemic period. @DrPramodPSawant’s grand announcements never materialized into jobs.”
