Panaji: Rajesh Prakash Rao Kulkarni has been appointed as Advisor to the state government on honorary basis.
The order issued by Vijay Saxena, Director and Ex-Officio Joint Secretary (Planning) has mentioned that Joshi will coordinate with various central ministries, assess and review the implementation of the Central government schemes.
He will also plan strategies for conduct of awareness programs for the benefit of the general public for Central and State government schemes.
The order mentions that Kulkarni will act as a coordinator between government departments and concerned Ministries in Government of India with regards to issues pertaining to Central Schemes implemented in Goa.
He is also mandated to explore the possibilities of dovetailing and identifying of new Central Schemes for their implementation in Goa.
Kulkarni will also have to strengthen Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa program in the State.
