Vasco: An officer attached to Indian Railways was attacked with a stone on Sunday night in the port town of Vasco by unknown person by entering into his cabin, police said.
As per the complaint filed with Vasco police, an unknown person attacked trains clerk Ramraj Kumar, who was on the duty at around 11.30 p.m.
“The miscreant entered the cabin, all of a sudden and hit Ramraj Kumar with a stone behind his head and ran away,” reads the police complaint lodged by Indian Railways on behalf the victim.
The victim was initially shifted to Chicalim Cottage Hospital and from where he was shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital near here.
Police are investigating the case.
