Panaji :Calangute MLA Michael Lobo slammed PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar saying he needs to take responsibility for dilapidated condition of roads.  “Pauskar needs to  follow up  and do groundwork, which won’t happen by merely sitting in office,” he said.

When people face water and road related issues they don’t approach PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar they contact their local panch, councillor or corporator, PWD minister under his guidance should take up these issues and repair roads at the earliest.

Roads across Goa are in dilapidated condition especially in Siolim where locals complain of backbone injuries . “If politicians don’t take responsibility for these shortcomings then who will?,” asked Lobo.

Yesterday Deepak Pauskar informed the media that, only 40% road works had been completed of work order given during 2020-21, he said 60% work is still pending due to short supply of materials and labour.

Pauskar assured that all work would be completed before the commencement of assembly elections
