Panaji: John Fernandes ran a small tea shop at Betalbhatim till he ran into a major political rivalry with former Salcette heavy weight and former Tourism minister.
Fernandes had his shop demolished and was evicted on petty grounds.
But the year 2019 got good news for Fernandes whose structure got a legal sanctity.
Town and Country Planning Board under the leadership of Vijai Sardesai approved his application .
The tea shop owned by him is a popular spot for many people including those coming for mass at Betalbhatim Church.
