Panaji: As the celebrations of Navrati begins on Saturday, political leaders in Goa extend their wishes for the auspicious festival. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Babu Kavlekar, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte took to twitter to greet everyone.

“Greetings and good wishes to the people of Goa on the occasion of #Navratri. May this auspicious festival bring happiness and prosperity in your lives.#Navratri2020,” CM Pramod Sawant tweeted.
“Greetings to all on the pious occasion of Navratri. May Maa Durga illuminate your life with countless blessings. HappyNavratri,” Rane wrote.
Lauding the work of corona warriors and wishing their better, Rohan Khaunte wrotes, “
The auspicious festival of #Navratri begins today. Our frontline warriors – doctors, nurses, essential workers have been protecting us during this pandemic like Maa Durga protects her devotees. I dedicate this festival to them who are helping the world regain its order.”
Kavlekar also extendes his greetings.
