Panaji: Panaji Police have arrested 43-year-old Eloy Joaquim Gomes, residence of Nagoa, Verna for possessing fire arms. He was arrested this morning at Kadamba Transport Corporation’s bus stand in Panaji.
Police Sub Inspector Vivek Harlarnkar arrested the accused with a revolver and eleven live rounds. He was moving suspiciously at the bus stand. He has been booked under Arms act.
