Pernem: Goa Police arrested a Russian national for possessing ganja at Mandrem village in North Goa.
Pernem Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said that the Russian national Oleg Malyshev (38) was arrested on Monday for possessing ganja worth Rs 4,300.
He said that the foreign national has been booked under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The raid was conducted at Mandrem village by Police during which the accused was found in possession of drugs. Dalvi said that though the quantity of drugs found on him is small, he would be chargesheeted as per the law.
