Panaji: NSUI leaders, who were sitting on indefinite hunger strike at Azad Maidan in Panaji, were detained by police.

The leaders including Goa Chief Ahraz Mulla, Prasenjeet Dhage and Naushad Chawdhary were detained by police, who claimed that the protestors have no permissions to be at Azad Maidan in the night.

Incidently, the place from where the protestors were picked up is usually occupied by beggars in the night, just a stone’s throw away from the office of Director General of Police.
