Mapusa: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that the North District Hospital Mapusa administered the first dose of Casirivimab and Imdevimab Antibody Cocktail on a 81-year-old Covid-19 positive patient with multiple comorbidities (Diabetes, Hypertension, Ischaemic Heart Disease and Post Mastectomy Cancer Survivor).
“The antibody cocktail drug will benefit and prevent further progression of the disease and reduce mortality. NGDH is the first government hospital in the state to do so. Congratulations to Dr. Swapnil Arsekar and his team at North District Hospital Mapusa,” he tweeted.
